Katherine's fine art works in watercolour and pastel captures the awe inspiring beauty of the natural world.  She loves the serendipitous quality of watercolours - the way water and colour combine to create stunning effects.  Painting with pastels allows her to embrace her love of colour.  

Katherine lives in Halton Hills where she finds much of the inspiration for her work.   Her subjects; landscapes and florals, are often based on photographs taken while hiking and kayaking.  

Katherine has participated in a variety of art shows throughout Halton region for the past 15 years.  Her work is displayed at Norval Studios & Gallery at 16 Adamson  Street South in Norval Ontario.  Every painting is a learning experience that is part of her lifelong artistic journey.
